The business rescue process includes assisting the business to reorganise and restructure its affairs, and to organise a restructured payment plan with its creditors. The aim of business rescue is to continue trading, ensuring that the employees still have jobs.

No legal actions (including sale and executions, liquidation) may be taken against the business while it is under rescue.
